Once you have arrived at your appointment and the documents need to be scanned; with available applications such as ‘Cam Scanner’ and ‘TinyScan’ for iOS and Android devices, you can now take a picture of the documentation using one of those apps and it will convert it to PDF. You then have a number of choices available to you, these are dependent on how urgent the account need them back; you can upload them straight to the Collectacase portal, email them in to us, or send them to the Collectacase mobile.
From the survey results we can see that 95% of our agents have Smartphones which means you are virtually self sufficient already, as long as you have a mobile printer you can print packs from using your Smartphone or Tablet; everything you need to know though is contained in the link provided.
If you do not have this kind of technology, but see the benefits of it then have a good look round on the internet as there is a raft of information, it doesn't have to cost the Earth either, there are lots of bargains out there to be had!
Remember, if you do not have a Smartphone or Tablet then this is all still possible using a laptop, digital camera and mobile printer, it is just case of installing the relevant software on to your laptop.

A good tip on how to get your slippers on quicker at the end of the day!
We are
working towards making our mobile site an everyday tool for all agents, for all
types of appointments. This will allow your case administration to be quicker
and more methodical than ever, and will help you to handle the additional
workload this will generate for you.
We are able see usage reports
on the mobile site and it looks as though we may not have sold the benefits of
its uses properly to you; we want to see the use of the site increase which
will mean we can be that bit more reactive to other things such as your
incoming calls.
The mobile site is live, and
always has been, and updating this way really can make the appointment process
that much easier for you.
One way to help you get your
slippers on quicker at the end of the day, and take away the pain you probably
feel from our constant phone calls, is to add the mobile site web address (URL)
to the ‘home screen’ of your Smartphone; doing this will give you an icon on
your Smartphone’s screen that you can simply tap, and with just one click of a
button you are on the mobile site where you can update your appointments from
the initial booking, to entering the tracking number – case complete!
Combine this with the use of
a tablet such as an iPad where you can take pictures and scan documentation
during an appointment, and all of a sudden your cases are complete and updated
to our portal before you have had the chance to put your slippers on!
Please feel free to comment if you are an existing user of the mobile site
