Your Smartphone and a mobile printer/scanner is all you need - Here's why!

There are 2 scenarios agents need to overcome when working for Collectacase
  •       How do I download and print client docs whilst on the road?
  •       How do I get the docs from the client to Collectacase in a timely manner?
For the lucky ones that have Smartphones and tablets – All leading Smartphone and Tablet manufacturers have given us the ability to print from their products, so when you are on the road you are able to print off the documentation from our website, this is where we want all our agents to be, having the ability to react and take on more appointments without having to go home to print, or find a local library.

Click the link to read an excellent report in to the best ways to print from your alternatively search Google for 'Mobile printing via Blutooth'

Once you have arrived at your appointment and the documents need to be scanned; with available applications such as ‘Cam Scanner’ and ‘TinyScan’ for iOS and Android devices, you can now take a picture  of the documentation using one of those apps and it will convert it to PDF. You then have a number of choices available to you, these are dependent on how urgent the account need them back; you can upload them straight to the Collectacase portal, email them in to us, or send them to the Collectacase mobile.

From the survey results we can see that 95% of our agents have Smartphones which means you are virtually self sufficient already, as long as you have a mobile printer you can print packs from using your Smartphone or Tablet; everything you need to know though is contained in the link provided.

If you do not have this kind of technology, but see the benefits of it then have a good look round on the internet as there is a raft of information, it doesn't have to cost the Earth either, there are lots of bargains out there to be had!

Remember, if you do not have a Smartphone or Tablet then this is all still possible using a laptop, digital camera and mobile printer, it is just case of installing the relevant software on to your laptop.

  1. Here's a suggestion:

If you want to encourage reps to take up the new technology package you can help them to overcome the financial and educational barriers by offering a package deal which includes training and familiarisation with the equipment to include setting everything up to work together properly - tablet, compact printer, inverter AC power supply for the car and the confidence to use them. This could be financed by one of your Justrefer clients. I for one would be willing to travel to Macclesfield to train for a day and willing to pay for the training. I am sure that the time saved and a modest increase in work volumes would cover the easy payments I would take on to pay for the upgrade. Having completed my in house training and had a bit of practice in the field I would be happy to train other reps in my part of the world to save them the need to make the trip to Macc. Let me know your thoughts. David Owen.
